Flight suits are not suits of armour! They're first job is to provide life-support in low or no heat, reduced or no oxygen environments. They're second job is as a G-suit. Only those flight suits expressly designed for use in space are hardened and offer a small amount of protection; as they are designed to protect against micro-meteor strikes.
In general, the helmet will be the suit's AR +2, and the suit's SDC x1.5.
UN Pilot SuitThe UN Fighter Pilot suit consisted of a helmet, jumpsuit, G-Suit, gloves, boots, and harness. The Jumpsuit is worn over the G-Suit, which cuts down on the amount of pilot blackout during high-G maneuvers.
