Background: (This should be two to three paragraphs in length. Included such things as your character's origin (family), events that led them to choose the life they have, and how they got their ally/friend, enemy/rival, secret and lover (if they have one); what brought them to the point where they are now.

Basically provide an overview of your character's overall history up until the time you start playing him or her. Don't focus on just one event. Most new players start a lower ranking soldiers or officer. It is highly recommended that you don't go into great detail on your first draft. This will save you time in case you are asked to do a rewrite. I'm also looking for things to be well thought out, and to the point. As the GM will be rereading this later, it is in your best interest to keep things short and sweet. Feel free to expand and embellish your characters background in your own notes on your own PC.
