* It is possible to have less than 2 years worth of MOS training. Training periods as short as 3 or 4 months are possible. (1.5 months in extreme circumstances, but the result is destined to be an infantry rifleman only, with only the branch training, and no MOS).

The following is only for characters with the Part-Time/High School education level.
Whether it be a scholarship, someone you know, plain old luck, or something else, your character could get a better military training than ordinarily available to High School drop-outs.
