• Within the excessively overexpanding Stellar Republic, internal rifts begin forming. The internal rifts eventually develop into large-scale conflicts that split the Stellar Republic into two.

• Development on powerful biological weapons based on the Zentraedi, the "Evil Series," begins. [Note: "Evil" pronounced as "Eh-vil."] Evil is the abbreviation of the Protoculture term for "advanced (Zentraedi) all-enivron biological weapon." Trial production takes place on a scientifically advanced planet (the first planet of the star system later known as Varauta,) but because of unresolvable problems with the weapons' power exceeding the fighting capability requirements, trial production is halted.

• On the [aforementioned] scientifically advanced planet, the existence of a sub-universe is confirmed. According to survey results, this sub-universe is abound with super high levels of extra-dimensional energy, and this energy is discovered to have the potential for application.
• The trial production of super dimension energy gates which can supply energy from the sub-universe is begun, and genetically engineered biological super dimension organs are developed. These biological super dimension organs are extremely compact, and they are expected to supply enormous amounts of energy.
• Because of power problems, the trial production begins implementing the technology from the terminated "Evil Series." No problems are uncovered in simulations.
• The internal conflicts within the Stellar Republic revives the development of the "Evil Series."

• A Protoculture survey ship stops temporarily on "Earth." By genetically reconstructing the native life, it plots the emergence of a sub-Protoculture (species) adapted to the planetary enivronment, "Humankind," to prepare for future colonization. During its return to its home planet, the survey ship is destroyed by military ships opposed to the Stellar Republic. Records of Earth and Humankind are eventually lost. [PC 2,900]

• On the [aforementioned] scientifically advanced planet, trial production of the "Evil Series" for final tests is begun. Seven Evil Series weapons of seven types, including a highly mobile, humanoid "Sivil," for search-and-destroy functions, and a super-scale, high-powered "Glavil," for fleet warfare are completed. The Evil Series tests are begun, but at the same time biological super dimension organs overload and extradimensional energy is released. The Evil Series' bodies are occupied by the spiritual energy life form(s) from the sub-universe and thus creating, from the massive fighting capability of the Evil Series and the enormous potential of the spiritial energy, beings with extraordinary fighting ability and a coveting for life energy, "Spiritia." They covet Spiritia in order to continue existing as extra-dimensional beings in this universe. They begin invading the surrounding planets and systems using spaceships and weapons of people from the scientifically advanced planet that they brainwashed. ( They later become known as the Supervision Army).
  Three months later, the internal conflicts of the Protoculture Stellar Republic are halted as efforts are devoted against the extradimensional energy beings occupying the Evil Series, dubbed "Protodeviln." However, over 30% of the Stellar Republic and several hundred systems are under Protodeviln control and the Spiritia-deprived people number several hundred billion. The Zentraedi fights in the conflict, but due to their prime directive of "Do not interfere with the Protoculture," they are unable to fight effectively against the brainwashed Protoculture people under the control of the Protodeviln.

• Nine months after the emergence of Protodeviln, over 85% of life in the Stellar Republic is lost. There is direct combat between the Protodeviln with their army of manipulated Protoculture people (the Supervision Army) and the Zentraedi.
• Approximately one year after the emergence of the Protodeviln, their power begins to rapidly decline.
• the "Protodeviln sealing operation." People (known as Anima Spiritia) who are significant in the war against the Protodeviln, are determined to have influential powers over the Protodeviln. The Protodeviln are completely sealed in special chambers through the efforts of the Anima Spiritia.

• The network among each colonized planet disintegrates. Control of the Zentraedi is lost and the reissuing of the prime directive "Do not interfere with the Protoculture" becomes ineffective.

• January - Experimental nuclear fusion reactor surpasses critical [temperature] point.

    00:30 Japan Standard Time (approximately): The Space Station New Frontier, located 36,000 km above the Phoenix Islands, detects an intense radioactive phenomenon at the Lunar orbit, followed by an appearance of an object of great mass. Furthermore, it confirms that object is heading towards Earth, coming 5.88 km closer every second. After approximately 18 hours, it will fall onto the Earth's surface. Upon receiving the report, the UN Space Agency confers with the heads of every nation. They each eventually adopt a response plan.
    06:00 Japan Standard Time: The falling object is determined by its form and other features to be an unknown object very different from a meteorite, and its forecasted path after atmospheric entry is made public (but as a meteorite).
    07:00 Japan Standard Time: Since Japan is only separated by about 1,500 km from the predicted crashpoint, the news is announced in Japan in the form of an earthquake warning due to the panic predicted. The response plan is adopted.
    18:15 Japan Standard Time: Amidst a dispute between a faction advocating to destroy the object by nuclear attack and factions advocating for no attack, the object named "EVA" (Evangel, which means the Gospel of the Coming,) enters the atmosphere above Burma. Due to the high temperatures and terrific shock waves, it reduces the summit of Mount Everest by nearly 1,000 meters, destroys Moscow and Stockholm, and inflicts damage while passing over all parts of Europe. Furthermore, it travels over Iceland and Greenland, causes volcanoes to erupt in Canada, and falls onto the South Ataria Island at the southernmost tip of the Ogasawara Islands above the Tropic of Cancer.

    Upon investigation by the UN, the meteorite is determined to be an alien spaceship. It is designated with the codename ASS-1 (Alien Starship-1).

    Official announcements are made that an asteroid, 3 Km in diameter and composed of great quantities of metal, fell. Due to the great destructive damage, abnormal weather, and starvation caused in all parts of America, Russia [Soviet Union], Europe, and the rest of the world by the shock waves accompanying the fall of the ASS-1, the existence of aliens is treated as top secret until the confusion is brought under control. What begins as an emergency summit meeting between America and Russia [Soviet Union] becomes a summit meeting between every nation. August

    UN Investigation Teams are organized. Thorough study of the ASS-1 begins by the UN Investigation Teams. South Ataria Island designated a UN sphere of jurisdiction.

  According to the first report of the ASS-1 study, the alien spaceship is determined to be a war vessel, and its alien crew to be giants whose height is five times that of Humans.

• October - In the Central Russian Administrative Region, the Anti-U.N. Army uses strategic [tactical] nukes. St. Petersburg's [Leningrad's] destruction demonstrates that the Anti-U.N. Army also has the capability for retaliatory strikes using thermonuclear reaction weaponry on the earth's surface.

• September - [Macross Zero] The U.N. government and Anti-U.N. forces secretly deploy the VF-0 and SV-51, respectively, while disputing over a recently discovered phenomenon on Mayan Island in the South Pacific Ocean. (The events are kept secret for at least five decades.)

Space War 1 (SWI)

2009

• January - SDF-1 is christened Macross.
• February 7^th
  Macross's space launching ceremony. The Zentraedi Army's Vrlitwhai Fleet arrives within the Solar System. During it's enemy search operation for Supervision Army survivors, the fleet happened to detect traces of a Supervision Army Gun Destroyer's (the ASS-1 / Macross's) defold reaction from 10 light years away and came in pursuit. Macross's Main Cannon automatically fires.
  Outbreak of Space War I between Earth and the Zentraedi.
  The Macross misnavigates during its fold and folds out of [the major planets' orbits of] the Solar System. It begins the return voyage to Earth by conventional space travel.

The Dancing Skull special forces team assaults the New Nile weaponry base and encounter a Zentraedi Variable Glaug on the planet Cristrania near the New Nile Weaponry Base.

New Edwards Test Flight Center, a weapons testing center under direct military jurisdiction, is established on Planet Eden.
The Dancing Skull special forces team escort the Shinsei Industry VF-5000 being tested aboard the UN Forces cruiser Algenicus over the planet Neo York. The Free York Liberation League launches two attacks to capture the VF-5000.

2022

The Dancing Skull special forces team destroy an abandoned UN Forces biological weapons research base (The Secret Relics Base) at the site of Protoculture ruins on the planet New Asia, after the base is deemed a biohazard.

2025

Megaroad-13 discovers an inhabitable planet near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The mission names the planet's system Varauta and immigration begins.

The Dancing Skull special forces team protect the weapons research plant on the planet Susia('s Weapons Research Plant) from Zentradi guerilla land units and aerial bomber formation.
Major Maximilian Jenius appointed as ship captain of the stealth space cruiser Haruna.

The Dancing Skull special forces team rescue UN Government Chairperson Lawrence Yun Kemal, being held hostage by Anti-UN forces with two shield-enhanced Destroid Monsters on the planet Bellfan.
  The Dancing Skull special forces team intercept two aerial attacks on the UN headquarters on the planet Susia, including one by three unidentified Zentradi combining units. After the completion of the operation[s], the two [Jeniuses] are granted special leave.

  September - The space launch of the first New Macross class super-massive colonization battleship. This colonization fleet's population numbers in the proportions of 1 million people.

Space War I made into a movie, "Do You Remember Love?" Premiere of this movie which portrays the Battle with Golg Boddole Zer and the love of Lynn Minmay. It becomes a big hit, and the Minmay boom rekindles.

  The Fire Bomber band performs their first live concert with Mylene Jenius. New Macross 07 journeys near Planet Varauta. Exsedol Folmo has warned against coming close to this planet, but Maximilian Jenius did not heed his warnings.
  Macross 07 colonization fleet encounters a mysterious enemy (the Varauta Army).
  Basara Nekki of the rock band Fire Bomber begins singing at the scene of the battle.
  Varauta operatives infiltrate City 7. Outbreak of "vampire incidents."

  May - Due to the efforts of the Varauta operatives, City 7 is manipulated into folding. Hereafter, City 7 begins to wander in space.

  Military doctor Chiba completes most of his sound energy theory.

  The Varauta soldiers' identity are revealed as brainwashed Human and Zentradi by the capture of Varauta soldier Irane [Irena] Hayakawa.

  • Elite pilot of the VF-X squadron, based on the Vahalla III, defeats the Zentraedi/Anti-UN group that had previously kidnapped the Milky Dolls, who attack Earth with a medium sized fleet of Zentraedi ships complete with a Command Flagship.
  • The VMFA-235 Death Angels are formed under the direction of Lt. Colonel Jack Anderson, Air Group Commander, 1st MEU, Macross 15 fleet. Lt. Col. Anderson selected the quasi-famous Major Toni Lombardi to lead the group. The 1^st MEU was stationed on the UNS Vigilance, a Guantanamo class carrier.
  • M-15 Fleet engages remnants of the Varuta Fleet in battle.
  • The 1^st MEU was rotated back to Earth with the 13^th MEU being rotated into its place in the M-15 Fleet on the UNS Peleliu. The Death Angels stayed. Now Colonel Anderson took command of the MEU 13 and the newly promoted Lt. Col. Toni Lombardi took command of the 7^th Marine Air Group in the MEU 13. Several squadrons were added, including the famous VMA-214 Black Sheep, VMRF-1 Wolf, and a detachment of the VMAQ-5 FoxFire.

• Unspecified Late 2048
  The Death Angels and MEU-13 came into their own during the expedition to the barren world of Sigma Epsilon V. The M15 fleet had been asked by Colonization Command to divert to the world to investigate why the UN outpost there had lost contact. They found it to be void of any life or traces of what might have removed all the personnel there. They did discover though it was a trap by Anti-UN forces to lure they fleet in and destroy it with surface based weaponry. The quick acting air ground task force was able to neutralize the threat to the fleet and hold out until reinforcements could arrive from The Battle 15. The Marines took heavy casualties on the ground and in the air, but succeeded in protecting the fleet.
  Remnant forces of the Varuta Fleet capture Planet Eden.
  A Varuta Carrier attacks the M-15 fleet and inflicts heavy casualties amongst the UNS defenders. The Black Omens fold back to the fleet and launch a devastating attack on the Varuta Carrier immediately upon defold. Using heavy anti-ship ordnance, the Varuta carrier is critically damaged, losing is communications, sensors and full use of its massive engines. The Varuta Carrier escapes by using an emergency fold.
  While the Varuta Carrier Khan was attacked by the combined elements of M15 and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Units, the Black Omens outfitted in Power Armour penetrated the Khan and succeeded in rescuing and recovering the Heartbreaker pilot who had been scheduled to be given to the Varuta Governor, a Governor who was believed to be at the recently captured UN Colony on the planet Eden.

• Unspecified, Early 2049 - The 13th MEU was recalled to participate in the largest engagement since SWI, the recapture of Planet Eden from the Varauta forces. Despite the size of the engagement and months of planning and preparation, it was over within a week. The Death Angels suffered heavy casualties during the engagement.
• November
  • Early November - The M-15 fleet having been recently repaired leaves the safety of the space docks orbiting the colony of New Patagonia to continue its mission to colonize a world capable of supporting human life. Their destination sector M183-92. The sector is believed to contain the ruins of several abandoned Protoculture colonies. The nearest United Nations Government worlds are small and unimportant. The fleet will mainly be on its own.
  • Late November - The Macross-15 Fleet arrives at their first planet in sector M183-92. The planet Avarmore VII is a frigid world. Crippled on its icy surface is the Cysgld, a Zentraedi warship. After an initial fight a cease-fire is ordered and peace is negotiated between the Cysgld and the fleet. The crew of the Cysgld share valuable information about the sector to the M-15 fleet including the news that several Zentraedi warlords are fighting for control of the sector. The largest and strongest of the warlords is Commander Renrak leader of the 3,568^th Renrak Fleet.
  • Mid December - During the repair work on the Cysgld the fleet is paid a brief visit by another Zentraedi ship which folded away soon after it arrived and by a small Meltraendi fleet which takes the time to deploy some of their Quadlunn-Rau units before they fold away as well.
  • Late December
    • The Macross-15 fleet continues its investigation of the sector by folding to the planet of Teradai IV. The planet contains Protoculture ruins and it is the location of the fleet's first battle with elements from the 3,568^th Renrak Fleet. Both sides fight for control of the planet.
    • Former UNSM Major Mircea Ivanescu a leader of the Iconoclast a cell of the Sovereign Independent Nations movement (Anti-UN) lead a series of daring raids inside several ships of the Macross 15 Fleet (City-15, E-15 and Beginhill-15) These raids lead to the capture of City-15 deputy mayor, Michael Hawthorn, his press secretary, the City-15 director of urban development, prototype designs for upgrade Destroids and resulted in the death or injuries of over two MP and 40 marines. Among the losses were the Marine Commander Lt. Colonel Lance Blankenship, half of the Roughnecks and nearly all the Salamanders.

• 3^rd, Saturday - Death Angels "Zentraedi in the Masses" Mission.
• Unspecified
  • During the "First Battle of Teradai IV", the Death Angels enter the battle in the hopes of rescuing a mysterious VF-22 pilot. In the process, they came to the aid of the Zero-Gs, who were also in the area and were seriously damaged by the Zentraedi presence.
  • Brigadier General Andreas Ravins is given command of the Marines for the Macross 15 Colonization Fleet.
  • The Zero-Gs are transferred from the M-15 fleet back to UNG territory for reorganization and retraining with new squad members.
• 10^th, Monday - the 2^nd Annual Awards Ceremony
  • Citybusters fly patrol of City-15 during the ceremony, where they respond to multiple false bombing threats.
  • Bloodhounds stationed on Teradai IV to defend construction of a military outpost.
  • During the festivities, a car is mysteriously "liberated" from a parking lot. Police are baffled as to the thief. The car is later found abandoned. Suspicions fall towards the Death Angels, but there's not enough evidence to make any charges stick.
• 11^th, Tuesday - Citybusters attack a Zentraedi outpost on Teradai IV.
• 12^th, Wednesday - The Second Battle of Teradai IV
  • Sentinels suffer heavy loses due to failure of their commanding officers. Several members of the Citybusters are transferred to the Sentinels to bolster their ranks.
  • Unicorns are redirected to defend the research teams at the protoculture ruins during the Zentraedi attack. While they manage to protect the ruins, nearly every member is shot down, and it is considered a severe failure.
  • The Death Angels and the entire MEU 13 ship, the UNS Argo, fold back towards the core of the UNG territory, specifically the colony world Britannia, to begin joint operations with the Royal Marines from that planet. The goal of the mission is to primarily be a UNG publicity coup to show that there is no dissention in the various branches of the military and that all the planets of the UNG are working together for a common goal. The Death Angels undergo routine retraining, training on recent fleet upgrades, advancements in technology and new intelligence for three weeks upon arrival.

  • Falcons training exercise is interrupted by Colonel Yomioka. They are directed to the UNS Hermes to pursue a rogue shuttle (8:30AM).

  • Falcons are labeled as terrorists for the hijacking of the UNS Hermes.
  • Bloodhounds are transferred to the UNS Crusader to join the hunt for the Falcons.

• fourth week of January - The Zero-Gs are deployed to the "Rainbow Warrior II" and tasked with patrolling the shipping lanes amongst the UNG systems.
• 24^th and/or after - the Roughnecks go to an abandoned training planet and encounter an Anti-UN team doing the same thing. Veteran retired Destroid Pilot "Chief" Kapoor is killed on the planet and Major Morigana is injured.

• 2^nd, Wednesday - Death Angels return to active duty.
• 3^rd, Thursday - Death Angels are dispatched to perform a Recon mission at the Fordast System. They discover an old Protoculture Domed City. As they approach the domed city, a Zentraedi Scout ship appears in orbit and begins the systematic destruction of the city.
• 4^th, Friday
  • Very Early Morning hours - The Death Angels flee the Fordast system and return to the UNS Argo. Upon arrival they receive new transfers to the squadron. Politically, the most important transfer is a member of the Royal Marines. A small detachment of the Death Angels is dispatched to do a top secret and high importance reconnaissance of the planet Fordast. Upon returning to the planet, it is discovered that the Protoculture ruins have been completely destroyed and that there was the scant remains of a downed or crashed Inspection Army ship nearby.
  • Early Morning - The Death Angels were immediately dispatched to intercept and deal with the Sector 7 Space Pirates who have been stealing from both military and civilian freighters passing through the outskirts of the Charest (Britannia) star system. During the operation, senior members of the Death Angels were taken prisoner by the Space Pirates. The mission of the Death Angel's changed as they learned the whereabouts of the Space Pirates home base from a captured pirate. The Death Angels immediately fold to the pirate's base on the abandoned colony planet LV-426 and begin an intelligence gathering and potential rescue operation for their captured squad-mates.
  • Late Afternoon
    • Commodore Yoshida, who has been instrumental in arranging the joint operations between the UNSMC and the UNSM, requests backup from the UNS to aid the Death Angels.
    • When the back up arrives in orbit, the lead ship, a Guantanamo class Stealth Carrier named "Rainbow Warrior II", is sunk by some type of seemingly unstoppable energy-based weapon that the pirates possess. Some 99.999% of its personnel and aerospace vehicle compliment are destroyed. The survivors, notably squad members of the Zero-Gs, Archers and Rain Dancers form up on a resupply shuttle that was dispatched from the doomed ship moments before it's destruction, to confirm that it's cargo of VFs makes it to the Death Angels on the planet's surface.
    • During reentry, the survivors broke into two groups, one of which attacked the terraforming tower directly with near complete losses to the group. The Death Angels, having been separated into two Recon Teams, had entered into firefights with the pirates. One team was nearly completely wiped-out by pirate patrols in the canyons surrounding the terraforming tower. The other team managed to sneak into the pirates' base, a renovated terraforming tower, and located two of the squad that were previously taken prisoner.
    • The Space Pirates activated a self-destruct device that destroyed the top two levels of the terraforming tower moments after they and a contingent of Anti-UN fled the area.
• 5^th, Saturday - The Death Angels and the surviving members of the three squads met Commander Yoshimoto, who merged them together under the name of the Zero-Gs. Yoshimoto also revealed that Captain Leiagh Moss is key to a UN Intelligence investigation into a mole in the MEU-13.
• Unspecified - The Roughnecks conduct a recon mission of the Colony Hasbron, a training planet for the Anti-UN. Three Roughnecks are KIA and the fourth is assumed KIA as well.
• 9^th, Wednesday - Death Angels Captain Vahn Kazarus was found in the basement of the ruined and abandoned terraforming tower. He is transferred to a hospital ship that recently arrived in orbit.
• 11^th, Friday - The Zero-Gs (Death Angels) are ordered to Petite Cola Ad Colony #34 Colony to determine if the continuing threat of raids by an unknown party, or parties, on PCAC #34 warrants and validates the colony's request to greatly expand it's Colony Defense Forces - CDF that are limited in size due to UNG laws that strictly applies to all colonies within UNG territory, even if those colonies are not part of the UNG.
• 12^th, Saturday
  The mission to PCAC #34 proceeds normally, until a number of events concurrently take place:
  • Lt. Kamil and Lexington are arrested for murder by the PCAC #34's police. Shortly thereafter, they are released into the custody of the UN Embassy in K'kap (the capital) after secret talks between the colony governor, Laco S'pep, and the UN Ambassador, Ichigo Sherbet.
  • After investigating a clearing with mysterious footprints, the Death Angels assigned to investigate the opposite side of the planet run into serious trouble when their VFs and the CDF base they had parked at are mercilessly and viciously attacked by an unknown force. Virtually at the same time, the UN airstrip and the remaining Death Angels there are also attacked by another unknown force.
  • Within minutes, emergency UNG forces fold to the planet, via the UNS Frigates Apollo and Mercury, and make planet-fall to render assistance to the UNS/UNSM forces present, the CDF and the colony government. The reception by the colony government was a mix of gratitude and disdain.
• 14^th, Monday
  • The Zero-Gs (Death Angels) return to LV-426 via the UNS Apollo. Upon transferring back to the UNS Argo, they come face to face with the mole that has been feeding UNG secrets to the Sector 7 Space Pirates. During the ensuing melee of confusion, the mole, UNS Lt. JG Clive BARCALOWE, steals a Star Goose space shuttle and makes his escape.
  • The Zero-Gs are immediately sequestered and questioned by the UNG, UNS and UNSM Commanders on the UNS Argo. The questions focusing on the mission to PCAC #34, the UNS mole and the ongoing strife and difficulty between the UNG and the colonists of Britannia.
• 15^th, Tuesday - The Marines and the UNS pilots of the Death Angels are segregated and given separate briefings and missions.
  • The UNSM flights are informed that the shuttle that UNS Lt. JG Clive BARCALOWE stole was seen arriving at the orbital city 'Nam orbiting Mekong in the Sisko system and are immediately dispatched to investigate and find Barcalowe. The Marine flights met with little success. Their target successfully fleas 'Nam and while giving persuit, the Death Angels come face to face with 3 Black Sambas. The Black Sambas kill two Marines and slice the rest of the squad to shreds. All in a few blinks of an eye and before retreating via spacefold.
  • The UNS flight, along with most of the Destroids and soldiers from the small army aboard the UNS Argo, are transferred to LV-426. The UNSM Army is to act as a engineer corps for the pending arrival of two Three Star Factory ships. The UNS flight is ordered to make a short reconnaisance of the planet prior to landing. After a flight over the polar icecaps, where rapidly growing blooms of algae are observed, the flight is ordered to investigate a reflection observable from orbit. Upon arrival in the area, they discover an almost completely buried spaceship! Investigating inside the remains of the ship, the UNS flight came face to face with a creature, apparently abandoned, in a makeshift hospital observation bed. The flight has no recourse but to kill the creature after it wrenched the gun pod out of the flight's 2^nd in command. The flight's 2^nd in command mistakenly attempts to cut her gun pod free from the creatures death grip by using her head laser. The creature's blood, composed of kiquid reactant (fuel,) immediately explodes into a nuclear fire. All of the flight's VFs are either partially or completely damaged, and a large portion of the desert collapsed, burying what little remained of the creature.
• 16^th, Tuesday - The Death Angels are sent on a weeklong mission to El Dante in the El Dorado system. The target: a chemical weapons plant that has a weekly visit from a ship matching the Sector 7 Space Pirates' transport's description. They make a brief stopover on the UNS Oh-mu, Sentinel Class Stealth Scout Ship.
• 17^th, Wednesday
  • The UNS Argo relocates from the orbit of LV-426 to begin preparations for a small UNSM invasion/strike against 'the free colony' of Hasbron. The invasion is to commence during the following week.
  • The Death Angels arrive on El Dante.
• 21^st, Monday
  • The UNS decides to resurrect the carrier name "Rainbow Warrior" on one of the current crop of Uraga battle carriers being built in the shipyards of the Apollo Moon Base. Squadrons assigned to the "Rainbow Warrior II" are also resurrected at the same time.
  • The UNSM invasion of Hasbron is a failure. The real purpose of the mission is to gather information to the location of the Anti-UN's hidden mecha plant. The UNSM call off the invasion when Marines are taken hostage and Anti-UN reinforcements arrive. The Roughnecks leave to assault the Anti-UN mecha plant.
• 22^nd, Tuesday - The Death Angels successfully destroy the chemical weapons plant and transport ship on El Dante. They quickly return to the UNS Argo, in orbit of LV-426. They get four days leave.
• 24^th, Thursday - UN Armed Forces Central Command completes the task of scouring available and soon to be graduating VF trained pilots and personnel to fill the Rainbow Warrior III. Transfer orders are sent out to the fleet.
• 26^th, Thursday - the Roughnecks destroy the Anti-UN mecha planet on the colony of New Essex with little opposition. They also apparently kill a few hundred disaster-victims as well.
• 27^th, Sunday - the Death Angels return to active duty - mostly space patrols in LV-426's orbit.

March

• 1^st, Tuesday
  • The Roughnecks arrive on the outpost at Janix II.
  • In an Anti-UN raid, Governor General M.J. is assassinated.
  • The colony planet Eskar III is taken by a combined army of the region's Anti-UN forces (the People's Republic Army,) mercenaries and the recently enlarged CDF of Thirty-Four (formerly known as Petite Cola Ad Colony #34.)
  • Colony Britannia formally requests that the UNG return all of its personnel. Suspicions rise in the UNG that Britannia 'may' have had advance knowledge of the Anti-UN invasion of Eskar III.
• 4^th, Friday
  • Undisclosed Location in Sector Seven: A small UNG convey - a handful of gas and cargo transports - escorted by a single Bolognese Frigate defolded at its scheduled time and location in deep space and is instantly attacked by multiple Black Sambas.
• 6^th, Sunday: midmorning, Galactic Standard Time (GST)
  • LV-426: one of the orbiting Three-Stars deposits the landing platform foundation on the terraforming tower. During the operation, a gravity dampening field is deployed that, unknown at the time, causes more of the (crashed and) buried Protoculture Colonization and Science Ship to activate.
  • Death Angels and the MEU 13 fold to the orbit of Eskar III, form up with the 9th MEU, and begin a war with the Anti-UN invaders to liberate the colony.
• 7^th, Monday
  • The combined SIS forces (PRA Army and Eskar III CDF) successfully defeat the UNSM task force; the survivors being immediatly captured as POWs.
  • A ceasefire between the combatants is immediately declared and the backup fleet of UNG ships that arrived mere minutes too late, folds away. Negotiations for the return of UNG personnel begin immediately.
• 14^th, Monday
  • The return of the UNG POWs from Eskar III is successfully negotiated. The cost of the return of the Marine POWs is UNG recognition of both the ceeding of Eskar III to, and the existence of the Sovereign Independent States, as well as taxation rights for ships passing through an area stretching 10 AU from Eskar III's star.
  • The POWs are transported to the sector capital of Sector 8, Janix II. The current magistrate of the sector, Marine Colonel Masumi, is off leading a battle against the Iconoclast terrorists on New Essex.
  • The SIS broadcasting of propaganda against the Marines that "invaded" Eskar III causes the weighty eye of the UNG public to fall on them. Almost instantly, the MEU-13 is put on trial for its heavy-handed activities both on Eskar III and in previous encounters to it. UNS Admiral Perry strongly denounces the MEU 13 and Brigadier General Ravins role in the invasion.
• 15^th, Tuesday
  • The MEU 13 Marine troops arrive at Fioria for an extended leave.
  • The widly televised trial of the MEU 13 begins.
• 17^th, Wednesday
  • The Sector 7 Space Pirate Transport defolds near Momoyama-3 and deploys an attack wave of Black Sambas which quickly destroy the defense force interceptors, the GcC Orion VII, and heavily damages the mining platform Core, all owned and operated by the Galactic Kroner. The ship then moves into orbit of Seed (Momoyama-3's moon,) and fires a heavy-particle beam-like weapom at the main settlement Momodani, leaving a 750 m diameter blast crater.
• 18^th, Friday
  • The trial of the MEU 13 ends with the disbanding of the MEU 13. Ravins, along with a few other senior staff of the MEU 13 are "demoted" to desk jobs as punishment for their "role" in events.
• 19^th, Saturday
  • Negotiations between Britannia's government, the ruling body of the Sovereign Independent States (SIS) and the government of Eskar III conclude, with the return of the POW Lt. Lexington and Britannia's signing of a treaty of non-aggression with the SIS that also states that Britannia recognizes both the SIS and that Eskar III is a member of the SIS.
  • The UNG loses access to the (vital) fleet repair and supply resources that Britannia provides for their continued suppressive actions against the SIS. The treaty provides the government of Britannia with an excuse to distance themselves from the continued belligerent actions that the UNG is taking against member colonies.
• 20^th, Sunday
  • The Death Angels are called back to duty and ordered to report to "level 69" of the Terraforming Tower of LV-426.
  • Britannia activates and puts all of its CDF on high alert. The space CDF fleet is deployed to patrol all points of the Charest system in anticipation of an attack by the Sector 7 Space Pirates.
• 21^st, Monday
  • LV-426: the Black Wraiths squad forms from out of the ashes of the Death Angels with additional transferees from the fleet. They begin retraining in the VF-22 and Mk. 3.09 Power Armour in preperation for their mission to stop the Sector 7 Space Pirates.
• 22^nd, Tuesday
  • Upon arriving at their assigned ship, the Rainbow Warrior III, which is just finishing construction in the Apollo Moon Base, the pilots assigned to the Archers were sent on a training patrol. Immediately after take off, two VF-19s of the squad crashed into the moon's surface. The crash results in one fatality and one pilot being put into critical condition.
  • While the investigation into the tragic first outing of the Archers continued, Major Kim is assigned to oversee the continued training of the Archers into a viable and elite VF team.
  • The Rainbow Warrior III launches from the Apollo Moon Base's shipyards and successfully performes a test flight around the moon. The ship then gracefully joines the Earth Defense Force by parking itself in Earth orbit amidst a swarm of other warships and cargo transports. Almost immediately, all of the remaining VFs, pilots, crew, supplies and munitions began being transferred to the ship.
• 23^rd, Wednesday
  • Britannia is attacked by Meltraendi mercenaries, and the Sector Seven Space Pirates Transport, protected by Black Sambas. The Pirates' transport ship fires its main weapon and quickly vaporizes and turns New London into a giant blast crater. As the city is in the geographical center of the colony, the subsequent fireball and shock wave causes damage to other cities and devastate a huge portion of the colony's agriculture and industry. The orbital shipyards are also destroyed in the attack, and the mercenaries capture three CDF ships. During the attack, the Pirates' transport appears to malfunction and partially explode. The attackers quickly retreat after that.
  • Researchers on LV-426 test detonate an extremely large Spiritia Bomb on the planet's surface. The bomb releases positive spiritia energy that causes a chain reaction which liquifies 1/3 of the planet's desert surface. Settled areas along the edges of the hills and mountains are hit by a massive tsunami. The entire planets surface is then hit with monsoonal rains and typhoonal storms resulting in massive flooding in low lying areas and narrow valleys and canyons.
  • The Black Wraiths on a spiritia warfare training mission are swept up in the chain reaction. When they recover from the initial impact, they are attacked by giant spiritia bugs apparently below the surface of the planet.
• 25^th, Friday
  • Starting with a briefing at 05:15 hours, the Archers are assigned the tedious job of assisting in the transfer of supplies, munitions, equipment and additional vehicles to the Rainbow Warrior III. After, they embark on a training mission that has the team pitted against itself in a capture the flag, paintball game.
  • During the game, the UNS Archer, a Bolognese Frigate, defolded and rammed the asteroid that the squad was "gaming" at. The squad is ordered to investigate the heavily damaged frigate. They discovered that it had been involved in a serious battle and the enemy had attempted to seize control of the ship. The Captain of the Archer had fought them off, after a lot of crew casualties, by blowing some hatches and sucking the atmosphere out of the ship.
  • The Rainbow Warrior III folds to White Flora Satellite City, in Jupiter's orbit during the night.
• 26^th, Saturday
  • At a 07:15 briefing, the Archers learn that the UNS Archer was one of the ships of the M15 fleet and that about 3 weeks prior the fleet was attacked. the current status of the fleet is unknown. The CAG also mentions other mysterious ship and fleet disappearances amongst the UNG forces. Most importantly, the CAG mentioned a rumored rogue fleet in the 7th Sector - exactly where the Archers, Rainbow Warrior III and the 13^th Galaxy Patrol are embarking to!
  • The Archers then received their first mission: investigate a mysterious force of VFs that attacked a mining operation in the Momoyama system.
  • The squad successfully defolds and establishes a camp on Seed in the Momoyama system. Part of the squad leaves to perform a recon of the area and due to pilot error and miscommunication, there is a mid-air collision. One pilot is KIA and the other is MIA. The search for the MIA pilot is posponed as a local news chopper arrives to investigage the sudden fire in the forest near the main settlement.
  • During the evening, the mystery VF force, Anti-UN, perform numerous recon patrols of the area in secret.
• 27^th, Sunday
  • The Anti-UN forces take the Archers squad by surprise and destroy over half of the squad. The other half are either too damaged or scattered to mount an effective counterattack. The Anti-UN forces make their escape from the planet while the Archers call for rescue.
• Late March
  • The Rainbow Warrior III arrives in the 13^th Galaxy Patrol fleet's rendevous point in deep space and the fleet begins its mission.
  • Archers return to the Rainbow Warrior III.

April

• Unspecified - the Archers are disbanded with the surviving members being transferred to other squads in the 13^th Galaxy Patrol.
• 9^th - Macross VF-X 2: the Vindirance Terrorist group initiates hostilities against the UNG and its assets. The 727^th Independant Special Command VF-X Ravens squadron engages assets of the Vinderance Terrorist Group.

  • 14^th [January 30^th] - UN Forces defeats the Vindirance terrorist group. [Note: The date of Vindirance's defeat depends on which ending is chosen in Macross VF-X2.]
