How is living in the Frontier Fleet going?
The Frontier fleet, as the 25th Super Long Range Emigration Fleet and having started it's trip aiming at a new world, is in the midst of space flight aiming at the centre of the galaxy. In the center is the main island "Island 1", connected to the agriculture plant "Island 3", Fishing (Industry) "Island 11", numerous (manufacturing) Industry and so on Ecosystem ships*, and other mobile plants that use the Frontier Metro.
In Island 1's overall length of 15 Km and a height of 2,000 m from the above ground surface to the dome's most upper part, is a constructed town modelled on cities that exist on Earth. The total population within the ship is 10,000,000. Though many of those are residing in "Island 1", because there are multi-layer levels, the population can increase to approximately 100,000,000 without a problem. Such people as administration and military staff can live in the above-ground block, with professionals, such as artists, getting preferential treatment. Many people live in the underground block residential district [ward, section]. Many kinds of people, such as Earthlings, Zentraadi, mixed Earthling and Zentraadi people and emigrants from other planets, are mixing and living in the fleet, and the standard language is a mixture of Chinese, English and Japanese. Electronic money is used. The currency differs in each fleet, and the national denomination rate varies between fleets. As Frontier's specialty, the Island 1 shaped lunch box is famous.

What kind of living thing [animal] are the Vajra?
They are a species that lives on a blue-colour planet that is in the vicinity of the center of the galaxy. One day, they suddenly came to attack the Frontier fleet. Also, a little bit before that, they destroyed [devestated] the Galaxy fleet, and 15 years before that, the 117th large-scale fleet as well. Their appearance is like a beetle [rhinoceros beetle], and from a larva until an adult, it undergoes several stages. Vajra thought [thinking] isn't in the head; it takes place in the belly. As they share their will/intention directly via fold quartz, which they produce inside their bodies, it isn't understood if they are living things endowed with individual [seperate] thought; and they came and attacked to protect Ranka, who had emited a fold wave, from mankind. Ranka's song "Aimo", is a song of love that the Vajra use to call out when they meet a swarm of Vajra from another galaxy for mating [crossbreeding], once about every several hundred million years. The song has the meaning of "dear [you]".
What are the fold dislocations that often appear?!
They are a dislocation that exists in the void of space and cannot be penetrated, that the Protoculture (a race who in the Galaxy in ancient times built a great stellar state [nation, country]) also weren't able to penetrate. As a result of the Vajra keep the ability to penetrate it to themselves, it was used by Grace, who conspired to connect [tie] the will [intent] of all of mankind in the galaxy to one will.
What does Deculture mean?
In the Zentraadi language it is said to have the meaning of "unbelievable", "to be surprised/amazed/frightened/astonished", and "terrible/dreadful". In addition, "Yakku [yak] = how/what/whatever", "Puroto [proto] = old/ancient", "Zentran = man", "Meltran = woman", "U Zarugu [Oo Zarg] = strengthen/reinforce/intensify/solidify/enhancement", "De Zantsu = be ruined/to perish/to be destroyed", "Miizoon [Me-zon] = song/poetry", "Culture = Kaaruchuun [karchun]", and "giant* = Goruguran [gorgran]".

Originally, who were the Zentradi?
They are a race that were created by genetic manipulation by the Protoculture for combatant use; and are the first aliens that Earthlings encountered about 50 years ago. They only knew how to wage war, and by Lynn Minmei's song, they woke up to "culture". After that, they were bound [tied, linked] by a peace treaty, and coexisted with Earthlings. Ordinarily they boast of a large body, but they can become as small as human size* by using a special capsule. Pointed ears are their trait [feature, characteristic]
* There's a bit of a nuance that they can become any size inbetween giant and human sizes as well.
Why do Kuran's ears that we saw change?
Because her genes are awkward [clumsy, lack of ability]. Usually, even though a Zentraadi's appearance doesn't change during micronization (when becoming small from a giant), there are some, like Kuran, who do change appearance. There also seems to be weak people whose genes, after only two or three micronizations, get sick [diseased]. Incidentally, Michael is of the type that cannot return to human size after changing into a giant.
So... what is Fold Quartz?
It is a purple, crysta-shaped material that is formed inside the Vajra's bodies. With it, it is possible to communicate, no matter what, with far, far distant space cut off because of a fold dislocation by means of resonance. The Vajra use this function to share information with swarms that are a long way off. For that reason, Sheryl's and Ranka's singing voices reached Aruto in the midst of battle; as he had one of Sheryl's earrings and those earrings used fold quartz (episode 7). Ranka, who kept the ability to hear fold waves in her singing to herself, certainly can be called natural fold quartz!?
Is Bururaa's objective Minmei?
Bururaa who talked about a dream of transforming the galaxy into one by using the Vajra. Even though it appears that Bururaa is aiming for galactic distribution and communications monopoly because he is a talented man who built a reputation in the transportation business, in the last part of the end of the story, he appeared staring at a picture of Lynn Minmei?! Is it only a rumur if it's the case that he merely wants to smoke out Lynn Minmei, who is missing [unaccounted for]?
What kind of fleet is the 117th Large-Scale Investigation Fleet?
In the olden days of Ranka, it is the investigation fleet that she and her family had embarked on. In 2048, the fleet sustained a Vajra attack and was destroyed. From wreckage discovered on Garia 4, traces of an investigation of the Vajra mode of life and V-type infection were found. When the fleet was attacked by the Vajra, in the midst of the New UN Forces that battled to rescue the fleet, was a young Ozuma.
Why can Sheryl change her clothes instantly?
Because a hologram is applied to her body. For that reason, it seems like her costume shape, colour and so on changes in succession, even while dancing. This technology is an application of the program of the artificial singer, Sharon, introduced in "Macross Plus". Incidentally, though she looks naked in your imagination, if you look properly, you can see an inner suit being worn.
What is the V-type infection [infectious disease]?
It is a bacterium [germ, bacillus] infection [contagion]. The bacterium is formed inside the intestines of the Vajra. On the Frontier fleet, the treatment [remedy, cure] hasn't been found. In Ranka's case, it is a contagion [infection] that was passed from mother to child. Though it is understood that she naturally has fold waves inside her body because of the infection passed from her mother, details have not been confirmed why she doesn't die, etc..
I want to known everyone's call sign
Call signs are a "identification signal", and are assigned to each craft. Aruto is "Skull 4". Michael "Skull 2", Luca "Skull 3", Ozuma "Skull 1", Kanaria "Rabbit 1", and Brera "Antares 1". The VF-171 that Aruto rode in is "Sagittarius (the Archer) 1".
What is the Dimension Eater that smashed [broke up] Garia 4 [Gaul 4]?
It is a device that generates a fold dislocation. In spite of being ultra-small upon activation, it generates a distortion in space, and proceeds to gulp down the magnetic fields of the surrounding area. That power that extends up to instantly shaving off more than half of the large heavenly body Garia 4 [Gaul 4] is to be feared! From that, Grace's body was also blown off. The developer is the technical research institute L.A.I, which is Luca's actual residence [Luca's parent's home, Luca's actual lineage/household].
Is it true that everyone is lovey-dovey while space-folding?

What are the codenames "Fairy 9" and "Q1"?
In the secret language that was introduced in "Project Fairy" that Grace et al planned, is "Fairy". "Fairy" is an image [idol, statue] to which existence is permitted only for the world of fantasy. In a word, Sheryl is indicated in the meaning of idol. The Q of "Q1" is Queen, and it indicates Ranka, who has a power equal to a Vajra Queen. Until Ranka was found, Grace tried to achieve her objective by using Sheryl.
Isn't the medicine that Sheryl took, terrible?
It's pretty terrible! "Witchcraft", which is written on the capsule, is the name of a restricted company used by the Galaxy Fleet's military. The meaning of the name of the company is "technique of the witch". Even though the medicine restrains the deterioration of the V-type infectious disease, there are side-effects, such as fever, vomiting and the chills [shakes].

Eyesight correcting surgery is obvious [ordinary, common, natural], in the future where medical technology has advanced. I want to known the functions of Ranka's beloved lifelike mobile phone!
It is a mobile phone that is imaged on the Japanese giant salamandar. Of course it features telephone calls and mail. It has diverse functions, and can do such things as play back music that is on discs that are eaten through the mouth, private mail that also expresses emotions [drawing facial expressions]. If it were to be sold, it will absolutely be wanted!
