The Transition of Variable Fighters

The effectiveness of variable fighters that had been developed in order to oppose giant aliens, was actually proven in Space War I.  After the war, the space emigration according to the Mankind Seeding Plan commenced, and variable fighters are employed as the main escort of the fleets.  Moreover, a lot of specialized variable craft for specific missions, such as variable attacker, variable bomber and so on, were also invented [created].  And then, in the latter half of the 2050's, a further possibility of manned craft was found by the appearance of an airframe that put ISC to practical use, and VF development entered a new phase [step, stage].

Caption:
As the reorganization of VF develops advanced in the 2010's, the two companies of Shinsei Industry and General Galaxy came to bear the core of VF development.

#1 The Super Nova Project
Shinsei Industry's YF-19 and General Galaxy's YF-21 are put into competition in a plan whose purpose is to develop the successor of the VF-11.  The YF-19 configuration is adopted as the successor.

Caption:
It is a project that demanded a high-performance that drew a line between the AVF and previous VFs, with such things as pin point barrier, active stealth, folding on it's own, and so on.

#2 The YF-24 Family
The YF-24 is the result of the Next Generation VF Research Plan by Shinsei Industry and General Galaxy.  The YF-24 Evolution is an original development and completion of the YF-24 by Shinsei Industry.  The VF-25 and VF-27 were created [invented] based on the design (of the YF-24 Evolution).

Caption:
The VF-25 and VF-27 are sister craft with concepts that differ.  The VF-25 is a craft that stresses manueverability, aerodynamics, and so on, and the VF-27 is a craft that stresses the output that is a response to cyborgs, firepower and so on.
