High Manueverability Vernier Nozzle / Micro Missile Launcher A "Hyuuzu (Hughs?) HMMM-Mk6" Micro-missile Launcher is built into the front of the unit, and it provides 4 launch ports, each, on the upper left and right surface(s) (the dotted line part). Moreover, at the tip [front] of the lower part (of the Super Parts), in the vicinity of the nozzle, are high manueverability verniers (thrusters).
Chaff and Flare Launching Port / High Manueverability Vernier Nozzle Two or more high manueverability verniers are arranged [laid out] on the leg propellant unit. A chaff and flare dispensor port is located somewhat rear of the center (the dotted line part).
Caption: Lieutenant Isamu Dyson, who controlled this machine, makes good use of the chaff and flare shells (the red spots of light in the picture), and the mobility that seperated and avoided the missile barrage can be seen.

Related Matter Making Use [Operation] of Unmanned Craft An unmanned version of the VF-11 Thunderbolt also exists, which the UN Forces at that time had produced many airframes of. Even though a hand is added to the structure and shape of the nose upon automating the VF-11, it is possible to equip it with super parts and so forth, and the basic navigation and ehancing seems to have been kept in it. During the test to measure the combat performance of the Ghost X-9, super part equipped unmanned VF specification VF-11 sortied, and were used as targets.
Caption: probably to make the target easy to recognize, it was given orange colouring, the same as the "Target Drone".
Caption: it is thought that an excellent control AI system was installed in the unmanned VF-11. However, it was defeated by the Ghost X-9 one after another.
